HELLO FRIENDS!
Hello, My name is Kala! Welcome to my first ever blog post! This blog is going to be a place where I can share my crochet patterns, ideas that I find useful, and any fun project that I am working on. I want to carry you guys through my blogging journey and expand my horizons with social media.
So a little about me. I am 24, I've been married for 4 years, we have a beautiful daughter named Kynsley who is 3 and a handsome son named Owen who is almost 2. I know, I'm crazy for having 2 so close in age, but honestly its fantastic! To only add to the craziness of my life, I have a full-time job as a banker, it's a pretty interesting job; but definitely not a passion of mine. I also have 2 dogs, Luna a German Shepherd mix and Tex a Blue Heeler, 2 kittens James and Sally, 2 snakes, and a rescued feeder mouse named Gus Gus. Needless to say, I have my hands full!
So Crocheting; I learned to crochet when I was a child, and I would say I was proficient in making bracelets and necklaces, my grandma couldn't figure out how to teach me to build on my work, so everything was a chain. Fast-forward 10 years and 16-year-old me decided to pull out a bag of yarn and crochet hooks my grandma gave me and learn to crochet her a scarf. So I looked up videos on YouTube and I did it! Boy was that scarf rough looking, but my grandma wore that scarf every winter!
Now, 24-year-old me, I can pretty much crochet anything that I have a pattern for. However, I am afraid to challenge myself when balancing such a crazy life. So what I ask of you guys is to push me, challenge me, and get me out of my comfort zone. I strongly believe that you can never stop growing and you need to challenge yourself flourish and sometimes you need some encouragement to get that "umph" you need.
